>>Right click the project (DLL) in the solution explorer and select properties then click the Assembly Information.. button . Is that waht you are looking for? (it works the same was as for an EXE assembly)

>When I click on the DLL and select properties, I have a very small window. It only lists Custom Tool, Custom Tool Namespace, File Name and Full Path. I do not see a link to the Assembly information from there. From the Project menu, when I select My project name Properties, under Application, I see Assembly Information. Is that the same reference you are mentioning? If yes, in there, I see Assembly Version, File Version. But those always remain to 1.0.0.0. How can I have the build to start populate those?

Replace the specific version sections with a *, ex. 1.0.*.* would auto inc. the last two #'s of the build.
