at first I thought you wanted the assembly version # at runtime. to get the assembly version at runtime I use Application.ProductVersion.

I see Paul replied to put * (shift+8) in the version number under the assembly info.

I kind of miss the auto increment version number in VFP (although it was not always fun to see how many times the assembly had been built<s>) . In .NEt if you put a * in the version number digit it uses the date time ticks (I think) to figure out what number to put in)
