Our report display was the first major piece of our VFP app we carved off for conversion over to C#. We were previewing reports with 10-20 columns after 2-3 days of playing around. Granted we had queries that returned our flat files already in place we just set a step and called the exe from the fox command window. We were hardcoding some pathing stuff, object locations etc... but as we learned we undid the hardcode and made it data driven. First couple of days is trying but after you get it to the screen where you can see the small changes you make in code, it moves faster. When we plugged it to our .Net version it was already "battle tested".

Ours is actually pretty complex now and totally data driven.

They have a demo period and a very good tutorial as well.
