Welcome back! Hope everyone has had a great summer. We're off to a great
start. Our guest speaker will be Menachem Bazian.

Menachem's topic will be "A Jumpstart To Com". He will cover the basics of
creating component-based applications with Visual FoxPro. He will look at
creating COM objects with VFP, how COM objects can be accessed within
a VFP application and how a component based application can be leveraged on a
host of different technologies. The goal of this session is to jump-start
you on the learning curve to creating component-based applications.

Menachem is a Certified Public Accountant and experienced in all phases of
project management, object oriented and database software design and
development. He also has extensive business consulting experience. He is a
frequent speaker at many conferences. Among his writing credits are Visual
FoxPro 3 Unleashed (Sams, 1995), Visual FoxPro Codebook (Sybex, 1995), and
FoxPro 2 Printer Management (Pros Talk Fox, Vol. V, Pinnacle Publishing:
1992).
Menachem has recently moved on from Flash Creative Management and is now in
charge of consulting services at the accounting firm of Levine, Mandelbaum,
Neider & Wohl.
