OK Sergey,
I am trying again:) Under circumstances, provided you know what you are doing and write a carefully constructed SQL, you can get the right recno() results from an SQL that has join in it. As in my original post I don't suggest it for its complexity. Just wanted to draw attention that it is not true that in the case of joins you can't use recno(). Otherwise for years I have been suggesting myself not to use recno() when there is a join:)
Anyway I attached an evidence (hope UT's new image feature is working). You may not believe that I did that using an SQL and it is up to you:)
