I have *yet* to need general purpose UDFs in a VFP application, with the exception of an OKL hook and only because of a VFP technical issue (can't call methods from OKLs). In your example posted, especially, there date functions sound like they are application resources, and -- therefore (IMHO) --- application or business object methods.
Lord knows I'm not trying to be an OOP snob, but, when I can use a VFP construct over an FP construct I will every time.
