I don't know what it will cost in the end but presumably he and his team will ensure that regulations and equity to an equivalent or preferably greater value is extracted from the parties responsible for this mess.

Obama views the connection to the outside world as vital, seeing it as a tool to help him “stay in touch with the flow of everyday life,” he said on NBC’s “Today” show recently.

I agree with that, despite the security concerns.
