"Nationalization of banks" will be on the list and not just his list either. I see Ireland has just nationalized its 3rd-largest lending bank. Were the market working properly there would be howls of rage at government nationalizing any industry let alone banks, but not a word do we hear. So you can guess what will come next. ;-) IMHO Obama will cement his world leadership by asserting that replacing market incompetence with government power is not a long-term solution for the citizenry- IOW he won't hold onto the banks indefinitely or at least will appoint independent directors and people who aren't on a government leash. Let's hope I'm right!
