I am trying to pass a string variable to a VFP COM object from an Active Server Page – it is something input by the user and I am getting the value using

request.form(“var”)

I can pass a literal string, but when I try to pass a variable, it seems to be coming over as null.

I’ve tried passing it as a parameter to a method and by setting a property of the object with the same results.
