Bad example, there are too many people that can attest to that. A better example would be global warming. I don't believe there's enough data to support the global warming theory, the sample is too small and even though we did have one of the hottest Julys on record, I'm not sold.

Anecdotal evidence isn't worthless, even if it isn't scientific. You know a bumblebee doesn't know he shouldn't be able to fly, that's just according to theory.
