A few additions to what Bob and Kevin said. I soon got tired to write all my views in code and the upgrading of a DBC and the related tables can be a headache too. I've been using xCase for years to this. There is no limit in the building of your views, so can you do much more by visually designing them in xCase. I have several hundreds (perhaps thousands) views behind me and I found no occasion where xCase would not design them for me. I am now with version 4, professional and it allows me to build remote views in the same "easy" fashion.
