Jude,

>I did install MM .NET successfully with the UAC turned off. However I discovered if I turned it back on, I was not able to create a MM .NET Business Object Library project in VS.NET 2005. It failed immediately with the message in the status bar I described previously.

Someone else a while back experienced similar behavior...although you should be able to run with UAC turned off after installing MM .NET, this may have something to do with having permissions set in the directory into which you are creating the project. I'm also running Vista on my development machine, and based on all the problems I had with other programs (Microsoft and non-Microsoft) I ended up just turning off the UAC--I think this is one of the big failings of Vista in general!
