Re PALETTE Problem:

I understand you have only one bitmap on the form, however I believe VFP can only handle one palette per form, including the palette required for any other graphical objects (buttons etc.). I know this was a problem in 2.6, however I do not know if it remains a problem in VFP. The resolution of the bitmap is also an issue (i.e. 24 bit graphics versus 8 bit graphics etc.). To solve the problem in 2.6 we moved to an add on product which was designed to display graphics (TBase is an example, however the actual name of the product we used escapes me).
