Yes I have already installed Visual Studio 2008. I've search the net and find some information on how I can install it. I used the MS Command window and executed the installer with the following command

msiexec /a MMNet_Installer.msi


I was able to install the package. I noticed that the MM Business Layer Generator was not in the Tools Menu. So I manually added the MM Business Layer Generator Plugin in Visual Studio 2008 by modifying MMBusinessLayerGenerator.AddIn.

Unfortunately, when I tried to use the business layer generator, there was an error indicating a (cannot located the specified path)

I double checked the path in the MMBusinessLayerGenerator.AddIn and it was defined properly.


This problem does not occur on Windows Vista 32 Bit OS. I think you need to check the installer if its 100% compatible with Vista 64 bit. We did a resolution by migrating our OS to Windows Vista 32 bit. But I am still interested in knowing how to fix it in Vista 64 bit.
