The stuff with the Windows Resource Kit - well, I guess I might have mis-spelled something, and that may have been the reason it didn't work. If that is the case, the program from Pirmasoft is easy to use, and therefore less likely to fail.
Note that for our purposes, it was important that the program continued working after user logout. On my first tests, I had forgotten to include:
SYS(2340,1)
which is required for this functionality.
