To me it's a copout to say bad guys will always have guns, as though it's an immutable natural law.


I don't think draconian laws have much to do with the low level of gun ownership in the UK. Criminals don't work along the lines of "thats a high penalty I won't do that" its more "I won't get caught so the penalty doesn't matter"
