Well i would have thought that if the police had reason to stop someone and they had a gun they would naturally become worthy of more attention and it wouldn't hinge on wether it was an illegal weapon or not..

I am anti gun and wouldn't own one but I do feel that we are better off structuring society by listening to people and addressing their fears etc and not by legislation. So build a gun free society by targetting illegal weapons and through education so young Americans don't feel the need to own gun.
