I guess you could configure drag-and-drop to carry out a specific action if a file were dragged to a Visual FoxPro window.

It is usually considered best practice to save files as separate files - and include only the filename in a Visual FoxPro field.

However, you could also copy the file to a memo-binary field - considering the Visual FoxPro limitation of 2 GB per file. In this case, the memo file would grow fastest.
