Early binding is no requirement for InteliSense style help for language constructs (arg types for keywords, optional parms, etc.), and it is also the case that the most useful InteliSense would be for objects, which ARE often effectively typed early on (especially in forms, but also in free code via CREATEOBJECT).

I don't see early/late binding per se as an argument against a more intelligent and helpful VFP editor.
