I am looking for suggestions on what networking approach/tools to use to troubleshoot the following problem:
I have a customer with VFP application residing on the server and the data reside on the server too. There are 2 users loading the application via a desktop shortcut pointing to the .EXE residing on the server. Each can work individually on the application without any problem. But if one user is using the application and the other one tries to use it too, it is very, very slow. The customer added max amount of memory to each PC. Adding memory didn't resolve the problem. I believe that the issue is with either server or network connection to the server. But what can I recommend to the network engineer to do in order to pinpoint the place of the problem?
BTW, the data files are very small so that should not be the issue.
