I have entries in my watched threads, word searching and in other content that are spreaded over the years, which can also be the case for several other members as well. So, the year is necessary. While the last 10 messages are mostly to be within the same year, for consistency and alignment, the same format will be preserved in all those content.

All that will remain on the right side as this is bound to the subscription, which is not the case for the left side. Also, the right side already fills the entire right side visually, so moving to the left side will simply make it longer. Also, other content are to be added to the subscription panel so its location will remain.
