I think the gun should be sold and the money put into the police budget. The gun is not the offender. The problem is we don't punish the criminals. Little ol Memphis has over 50,000 people who have been arrested more than 5 times. Over 100 have been arrested more than 100 times, including one guy who hit the number 449 before he finally got run over and killed.
