I am having the exact same problem and have found the following so far.

-SCREEN=OFF causes the error to occur
-Bringing the SCREEN back before shutdown makes no difference
-It does not error on a PC with IE4.0 installed
-It does not matter what code is in the program (I created a Messagebox program too and found it errored). Clearing all memory, paths, closing everything, etc. makes no difference either.

Only 2 things make a difference, that I've found. IE 4.0 and SCREEN=OFF.

This has to be some kind of bug. These are programs running good in 5.0 and recompiled in 6.0 which then errors.

Does anyone have any info or can we get Microsoft to look at it?
