Right, but unfortunately the problem is very hard to find and fix. I may try to debug it on Saturday's night.

May be you can try to confirm or deny the other problem. If you set the checkbox to be readonly and try to click on it and you would have table-buffered local view with the field bound to the checkbox, would GetFldState or GetNextModified return a change status? In our case the system thinks that a change was made.
