I think the answer to this is probably a no, but I thought I would ask here before I tried.
I have a windows 2008 server (32bit) in place. I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to do an in-place upgrade to the x64 version of it? If it can be done, it would obviously save me a lot of work reinstalling existing applications. The server has 10 gigs of memory and the 32bit obviously can't take advantage of that. We are hosting 4 virtual machines on this server and I need to add another that will be running SQL 2008.
Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.
