Title:
Specifying Foxuser.dbf
Under Tool --> Options --> FileLocations
the entry for Resource File is c:\myDir\foxuser.dbf
I have several shortcuts on my desktop which use as the Target
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8\vfp8.exe" -cc:\myDir\config.fpw
and the Start In box shows the application's home directory.
I'm probably misreading the help file, but it looked to me as if adding a -L parameter to the startup command allows you to specify where the Foxuser.dbf file should be found.
For one of these applications I would like to have a separate Foxuser file. So I made the target
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8\vfp8.exe" -cc:\rpupko\config.fpw -lc:\myDir\play\foxuser.dbf.
Now when I click on the shortcut I get an error
The application or DLL c:\myDir\play\foxuser.dbf is not a valid Windows image
What have I missed and how can I set up for separate Foxuser files?
Thanks......Rich
