It is not the football league supporting one religion (or no religion) over another or forcing religion down anyone's throat. It is free expression. His post seems extremely intolerant to me.

And you can't say it doesn't effect the team. Some teams, notably the Jacksonville Jaguars, have been riven by schisms between the Jesus freaks and their teammates.

>>>Mike, with all due respect, I think you are way off base. If I'm religious, do you expect me to keep it to myself? I think you are biased, but to be fair you did say "you have a problem" with it, not that it's wrong.

>>With all due respect right back, I don't think I'm off base. No, I do not expect you to keep your religious beliefs to yourself. It's when those beliefs are pushed on another that I become offended.

>>You're still one of my favorites here. How's the bambino coming along?

>I understand you have your own religions opinions and respect that, but I don't understand why you can't ignore/roll your eyes at the stuff that bothers you and go on with your day. It almost seems your are approaching a censorship boundary or something.

And yet, other serious moral issues are forced upon people (homosexuality, etc) who are seriously offended/sickened/annoyed by it, but liberals stand up and require government mandate that these things be forced into public view and into corporate and government workplaces. Religion can't be tolerated though.

Please explain.

>If by bambino you mean baby, then fine. Ultrasound is in a few weeks. Twins run on both sides of her family, so we are hoping for just one. I guess I wouldn't really mind twins, and I can really say I might also prefer them, but more than two and I would hit the panic button. We got out test results back last week and a huge load was taken off our shoulders when the baby passed all the tests.
