A VFP executable hangs up occasionally trying to FTP files to a web site.
The FTP operation doesn't return an error - it just hangs.
Once I kill it by closing the host form, the FTP control returns an FTP error.
The scheduler fires every half hour and the app freezes 3 or 4 times a day.

It's running off the windows scheduler. It should send the files and exit till called again by the scheduler.

I have two questions:
1. It's using the XCeed FTP control, which we use successfully in similar applications at several other applications.
Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing it to hang?

2. Can I write another app that kills this app if it's frozen?
I can tell from looking at the data that it's frozen. How would I kill it?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
