>>>I am running the latest version of MM Framework (after a patch was posted in November). Do you have any ideas why a number of us are getting the same error in the sample app (previous messages on this thread)? Can ~you~ run the sample app successfully and open the customer orders form?

>>Hi Guy,

>>Yes, I just completed re-doing the jumpstart business and the jumpstart windows forms and I can retrieve Customer Orders, Details come in perfect as do the shippers and Employees. No errors at all. There are several little things along the way that are easy to miss. I have missed things before and had something not work when I didn't understand what everything did. Working through it carefully solved the problem. This time I had no problems. I hope that gives you a confidence that if you work through it again, you may find what you missed.

>Good to hear. I ~do~ like the very detailed work that they've put into the documentation to help people get started. It's been very helpful so far.

>As far as the other error that many us of newbies are getting, it's with the sample app that ships with the framework, not the jumpstart.

>If you open and run the sample app (under the 'samples' folder), many of us cannot open the customer orders form. And we're not sure where the problem lies (something to do with an empty dataset??). The value of this is being able to troubleshoot a realistic problem as we gain understanding of the framework. It's probably a simple little issue. But being new to it all kind of leaves you feeling lost.

Oh man I should have been paying closer attention. It took me 30 seconds to test the sample app but over an hour last night to test the jumpstart. The sample app give me the same error. I have used the sample app to see how they did some things but it isn't too advanced for me to use any more. I am flying back to Oregon today, but if I get time tonight or tomorrow I will debug that and find out what is causing it.
Thanks
Tim
