I finally got around to trying to implement this, and I am having a few issues. I have a tabbed form and a modal form on top of it open at the time the shutdown function fires. The modal form closes, but the tabbed form gives the following error:

Cannot access selected table, which is used in combo boxes on my form.
I had trouble using the queryunload() line in your code. It gave me a property not found error. Evidently I need it else where?
