It's been known to get as hot as 100 degrees fahrenheit there hasn't it?

Only on the weekend and at the beach. ;-)

You're right, it does get hot enough to grow really good Chardonnay. But the temperature, the remoteness and the local populace contribute to the sort of mental relaxation that helps you live longer.
