>>Does anybody use Subversion for their .NET applications? I have the basics (pull down latest version, check in, etc.) down, but can somebody give me a quick explanation on how to mark builds? I need to do some self-learning to get more proficient in Subversion in general, but I have an immediate need to mark a build in Subversion so I can fix some production issues.

He had me spend $50 for VisualSVN which I have to say is extremely impressive. I don't know about Subversion ( though I think it is the thing that Visual SVN wraps ) but I know Tortoise is somehow involved. I think these are all flavors of the open source Subversion project. Anyway, check out VisualSVN as mark builds, doing branches etc seems ridiculously easy. If you get it up and going I might be able to answer stuff about it. There is also very good on-line help.

http://www.visualsvn.com/I have all that software and I am currently using it all. In my research I found something about trucks, branches, and tags or something like that. Sounds like we need to get more disciplined if we want to use Subversion to its fullest.
