The problem that you are going to have is that you are dealing with a rester image and not text in a Windows screen. If you were running in DOS you could simply read the data off the screen as character data.

In this case you will have to take a snapshot and then run the result through an OCR system. There are plenty of them out there and the modern ones have fairly high success rates. After you convert the raster to text the rest is easy.
