Same here. I grew up in Wisconsin. There is a reason I'm now living in the south: choice. :o) My siblings and I had to shovel the driveway on heavy snow days so my parents could drive to work. We had a very long driveway. Eventually my parents bought a snowblower but my dad was always afraid it would break-down when he needed it most so we still had to shovel snow if it was less than a foot deep! Then when it did snow and it was over 12" he was afraid it was too much for the snowblower to handle. I think they just enjoyed seeing us work :o) When my dad bought a riding lawnmower we had to walk the entire property and pick up sticks and stones before he would use it to mow the lawn. It was almost an acre. Needless to say, when I joined the military later in life and had to do 'police call' it was not a new experience. :o)

(For those not familiary with 'police call' it is walking and picking up trash along the way)
