>>The original message was supposed to go in Chatter, News. However, after I selected 'Chatter' in the forum section, the category combobox still reflected the categories for the VFP forum. I reselected the Forum numerous times to no avail. The category combobox is not refreshing as it should. I finally decided to change the message to the Universal Thread forum and enter the problem instead. The category combobox still shows the VFP categories, so I chose chatter. When I tried to 'send,' I received a page not found error. I clicked on back and then tried to send again and this time I received the message 'the category does not match the forum' error message. The page refreshed and I was finally able to choose the Universal thread category in the universal thread forum.

>>I am also experiencing slow response times when I try to view a message. It is possible that a communications error occurred while I was trying to create the message so the combobox could not refresh correctly. Is anyone experiencing this today?

Yes, in fact it worked a couple of times today and worked just now when I tested it. It seems to fail intermittently...
