I find a couple of things quite extraordinary.

One, what business does a court have in knowing all the intimate details of what occured in private between too people. Why Monica ever reveal so much, and for what reason could anyone compel her? Where is freedom of privacy?

Two. I thought grand jury stuff was private too. How can they reveal the Clinton video and even testimony? All the TV stuff I've seen had grand jury stuff behind closed doors. (We don't have them in Canada). What gives?

Three. Why doesn't Larry King (CNBC, 20/20, 60 Minutes et al) have something else to talk about? Whatever happened to baseball? Or hockey.

I certainly don't condone lying and my policy is to keep my mouth shut if I can't tell the truth (obviously not interested in politics) but I have kept the following maxim close to mind when listening to others:

It's hard to believe someone is telling the truth when you know you'd be lying if you were in their place.
