It has been a while since the last time I did this. I do have all my code however. But, something is not working as it used to work on other servers. I have created a full text indexing catalog. In it, I see the two fields I have checked for full text indexing. If I try to start the background indexing, it says:

"Warning: Full-text auto propagation is currently enabled for table or index view 'Thread'."

So, this means that the indexing is already well set up.

But, if I try to do a search, I get:

"SQL Server encountered error 0x80070218 while communicating with full-text filter daemon host (FDHost) process. Make sure that the FDHost process is running. To re-start the FDHost process, run the sp_fulltext_service 'restart_all_fdhosts' command or restart the SQL Server instance."

The service is running. So, there is something else that has not been completed.

I also cannot remember where to go to see the progress of the background full text indexing.

Basically, something is missing here and I just cannot find what it is.
