>Hey all today I received the MS SQL-Server 6.5 via AirBourne Express. I guess MS decided since they didn't have it ready at DEVCON they had better send it out by Air. I guess now I have a good starting point for learning Client/Server. Like VFP5 this is the retail box edition of SQL. So does anybody know if this single user edition of SQL-Server can be run on an NT Workstation or do I now have to go out and buy NT server? (Yes I know it is designed for a server but since I paid for DEVCON out of my own pocket this copy has a natural right to be used on my home development computer if possible.)
Unless it's specifically designed for 32-bit OS, it can be used on WFW, W95, and
WinNT Workstaion. BTW, I'm getting Oracle 7, which as i found is more flexible as
far as various OS's are concerned :)
Some things are better be left unknown...NOT!!!
