>>>>>>Oh, so that's how it works. The icon may be a little too subtle or out of the way because I missed it, too.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>UPDATE: And now I notice the "pictures" are dropped from the reply, too, so if you want to view them you have to navigate back to the original post. I think I like the old URL hyperlinks better.

>>>>
>>>>Correct, and I would not use it as it is implemented now. Please see my reply to Tracy just now. I agree an image to illustrate message text could be useful. But a URL? Bad idea.
>>>
>>>I don't see why having a URL in your message is a bad idea. We've all been putting them in for years. Tracy does nowt but!!!!
>>>
>>>I agree the image is hard to find. Indeed I thought that Jos had forgotten to inc his URL in his blurb, as I didn't see the icon.
>>>
>>>BTW I've been away ill for a week and today's 1st day back on the UT. I've noticed my thread map icons have all been stretched cf the others on the same line. Has this been mentioned? If so why are they like this. If not, why no one mentioned it, or is it only me?
>>
>>I have no problem with URLs in messages (although not a fan of URL-only posts with no explanation or opinion attached). In this case the URL was only in the image.
>>
>>Yeah, the thread map icons have changed, too. The UT continues to evolve ;-)
>>
>>Hope you are feeling better now. A week sick, that must have been a whopper.

>Feeling better, thanks. It was an acute pain in my RH side abdomen, just below the ribs, from Tues. One that "rebounded" when you poke a finger in then release. 1st I suspected appendicitis, but phoned NHS Direct and got a -ve diagnosis of that. Next day I went the doc. He palpated me and queried gall bladder (stones). Booked me in hozzy for an ultrasound (still waiting) but I don't think it's that.

>Monday, BTW, I couldn't move the car cos of the snow and had a snow day, playing in the park with the kids on sledge I've waited 13 years to use, but only had 1 opportunity up till now. Park was crowded more than a summer day and all hands were smiling & laughing. All hands envied my skidoo-style sled BTW. :-)

Good luck with the mystery ailment.

Sometimes I think it would be nice living somewhere you can only use a sled every 13 years ;-)
