Larry,
I will keep it short and simple. You have two different forms each using tableA in a grid and default data sess. You use DE and DE props are at their default. You launch form1 then form2. So far so good. Then release form1. Ooops form2 grid blows !
I think PDS is a hightech safety belt. It doesn't prevent others (or your another form) seeing data imediately (provided buffering lets it - IOW they see that SQL could select).
