Awesome thanks for the reply.
I usually have my customers install it and they have to give me their credentials so I can log in. I think also an invite can be sent. If they don't want me to log in they simply change the password.
What about security issues. My IT department will not let me connect to a remote computer through LogMeIn when I am on the company network. So what I do is RD to my home computer and then connect through LogMeIn to the remote computer. Kind of a pain and I can't figure out why they allow RDP and not LogMeIn.
Have you had any security concerns about LogMeIn?

>I've been using LogMeIn Pro for over a year and think it's excellent. I use it to remotely manage a web server, also I have it on my office machine so I can access that machine from my laptop when I'm on the road. In my experience LogMeIn Pro is fast and reliable. The Pro product provides several features including remote control and file transfer, which are the two I use. It can also pass Ctrl+Alt+Del to the remote machine, so you can login to a locked machine, lock the machine when you're done, or even reboot the remote machine.

>The only drawback I've found is that you have to be physically present to install LogMeIn Pro, or be willing to reveal your LogMeIn login credentials to someone else so they can install it. For example if you're in Wisconsin and want to install LogMeIn Pro on a machine in Chicago, you either need to go to Chicago and install it yourself or give your LogMeIn username and password to someone in Chicago who can install it for you. Personally I would never reveal my login credentials to anyone else, so this is a potential limitation. However, LogMeIn has another product called Reach, which I think enables remote installations without this issue. I haven't used it so I can't say for sure, though.
