1. For VFP Reports, you need additional software, I use XFRX which is excellent,there is also FRX2PDF and MindsEye.

2. Microsoft have a free download for MS Office to allow creation of PDF's, but from looking at it just now it does not support passwords. There is also an open source PDF writer call PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/)
