So how's that different than W Economics? Less taxes, increased spending? In principle it's no different. I was responding to the suggestion that disinterested Socialist workers' behavior is an example of what to expect from increased government infrastructure spending as a response to the current crisis. But that's not what happened when Sweden tried it last time. Besides, there are numerous examples of federal/government infrastructure projects all over the world that have had a good result. You might start with the freeways in the US prior to 1990.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
