How to secure a model
Environment versions
SQL Server:
SQL Server 2005
Hi All.
I have successfully deployed a SQL Server Reporting Services Project for one of my clients. I have also put together several models for the Report Builder. The problem is that I cannot find a way to exclude two models from the report builder. These models contain sensitive information and should only be accessed by system administrators.
I have gone through the Reporting Serices security and I can set it up do that the two models in question are not visible under the models folder to anyone who does not have rights. The problem is that they are visbile to everyone when they clcik on the Report Builder button. I have been through the SQL Server Reporting Services books and the help, but have not found anything that works.
Is there a way to do this?
TIA
