>I love it. I hired a guy to mentor me in getting my first client app going in .NET. Fun to be on this side of the relationship in that for the last ten years I've done a lot of that for VFE/VFP developers. He's very good and I'm learning a lot. Using Strataframe and Report Sharpshooter from Perpetuum. VSN for source control.

>How about you? Are you still doing that heavy duty course you were starting last fall or is that over by now? How'd it work out? Are you doing .NET work full time now ?
Right now I am trying to get over the flu, which explains the unusual post time. Have slept the past 12 hours.
Doing .NET full time is the goal, not the reality yet. I dropped out of the SetFocus training program after a week. Very outdated for the price, course materials written for .NET version 1. I am halfway through a similar program from DePaul University. It's going to be a hell of a job getting a chance with no work experience but I know once I get that first chance I will be off to the races. Trying to stay positive. It's unusual having to watch the bills.
