Windows Server is tuned by default to give more power to background tasks. If your client want to use it as a client OS, you will need to change some tuning. Here's a site that list some services you will need to modify: http://www.win2008workstation.com/wordpress/2008/08/26/fine-tuning-services

>One of my clients is running Windows Server 2008. Periodically my VFP 9 programs crawl to a halt on this system. Is there any special setup required to run VFP9 stuff on Windows Server 2008? Thanks for any help.
