>>>I need to get someone a very simple MP3 player that has very easy to use software to load songs on to it. My girl loves her iPod, but the iTunes software is much more complicated to use (for me anyway) that it needs to be. A friend of mine - not computer literate much - wants to get a player and I want to make it as foolproof as possible. I've tried to just copy songs onto an iPod, but if you don't use the iTunes, it doesn't seem to work. Any recommendations for either the player or the software?

>>BTW, MP3 player? All the cool kids are using Pandora now.

>This isn't a cool kid. It's an older person who just wants to listen to audio files as they exercise. If I could just have Copy to Player, Remove from Player, a Play and Stop button, I would.
LOL, bust out the Walkman, Jay. ;-)
Pandora is Internet Radio, so if you want to be portable it wouldn't be a good fit. I would take a look at the iRiver products which have been mentioned. They seem really easy to use.
