Hi Terry,

I had a client call yesterday with what sounds like the same problem. Computer was working fine at close of business Saturday and was turned off. Monday am, the system would appear to boot but nothing would run. The screen icons were there but no reaction. I called my tech buddie and we did a system restore to last Friday and all is now well. He told me of another instance where the AVG update had "burped" with the same result. I stuck my neck out and did another AVG update and the system is still up and running.
