This was 5-6 years ago. I built an application to place on the IPAQ PDA. A person would go around, inputing the location of items in a production process. A couple times a day the PDA would be placed in its cradle and a user would transfer all the data to a DataBase that was located on a server.

There have been many advancements since then, so I suggest a visit to their web site to see all the new "Gee Whiz" stuff they're doing with PDA, Smart Phone, etc.
