No, but I assumed that the default Icon would show up on the start menu.

Perhaps I did not state my problem correctly. It is not the actuall Icon that I am worried about but the fact that the program gets install and the user can not find it on their start menu.

The install program does not create a program group. The only way that the program appears on the start menu is if I select an existing group.

Does that make sense?

If I setup an icon for the program will that effect wether a program group is created?
